Guide to Mystic Numbers

Merge Logic

At its core, Mystic Numbers is a tile-matching puzzle where you combine numbered tiles to create higher values. Tiles with the same number can be merged by dragging one onto another, producing a tile with the next number in the sequence.

Basic Rules

• Merge two identical numbers to create the next High Numeric value (e.g., 2+2=3, 4+4=5).
• Each merge awards points based on the resulting tile value.
• Combos — merging multiple times in quick succession — multiply your score.
• The board has a limited grid. Plan your moves carefully to avoid filling up.

Scoring

The base score for a merge is equal to the resulting tile value. Combo multipliers stack: a 2x combo doubles the score, 3x triples it, and so on. Chain merges strategically to maximize your combo multiplier.

Special Tiles

Special tiles occasionally appear on the board. Wildcard tiles can merge with any number. Bomb tiles clear surrounding tiles in a blast radius. Locked tiles require an adjacent merge to unlock before they can be moved.

Items

Items are consumable power-ups that give you an edge in matches and levels. They can be found in chests, purchased from the marketplace, or earned as rewards.

Item Types

• Shards — Fragments of powerful artifacts. Collect sets to unlock bonuses.
• Potions — Temporary buffs (e.g., Speed Boost, Score Multiplier).
• Scrolls — One-time abilities (e.g., Board Shuffle, Tile Swap).
• Relics — Permanent passive bonuses that stay equipped.

Rarity Tiers

Items come in Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary tiers. Higher tiers provide stronger effects and are harder to obtain. Legendary items often have unique visual effects.

Bosses

Boss encounters are special challenge levels that test your merging skills. Each boss has unique mechanics and requires strategy to defeat.

How Boss Battles Work

• Bosses appear at milestone levels and during special events.
• Each boss has a health bar that depletes as you make merges on the board.
• Bosses may spawn obstacles, lock tiles, or shuffle the board.
• Defeating a boss rewards rare items, large XP, and exclusive cosmetics.

Tips

Save your items for boss fights. Speed boost potions and board shuffle scrolls are especially effective. Focus on creating high-value merges to deal maximum damage.

Matches

PvP matches pit you against other players in real-time merging battles. The player with the highest score at the end of the time limit wins.

Match Types

• Quick Match — 3-minute match with random opponent at your skill level.
• Ranked Match — Competitive mode that affects your ranking.
• Friendly Match — Challenge a specific player or guildmate.

Matchmaking

Matchmaking pairs you with players of similar MMR (Matchmaking Rating). Winning increases your MMR; losing decreases it. Higher MMR unlocks better rewards at the end of each season.

Scoring

Matches are scored based on merge values, combo chains, and special tile usage. Bonus points are awarded for clearing rows or achieving milestone tile values.

Guilds

Guilds are player-run communities within Mystic Numbers. Join a guild to collaborate, compete in guild events, and share strategies.

Guild Features

• Guild Chat — Communicate with guild members in real-time.
• Guild Events — Weekly co-op challenges with exclusive rewards.
• Guild Leaderboard — Compete against other guilds for top rankings.
• Member Ranks — Guilds have leaders, officers, and members.

Creating a Guild

Players can create a guild from the profile screen. Creating a guild requires reaching level 10 and spending in-game currency. You can set a name, tag, description, and invite players to join.

Guild Progression

Guilds earn XP through member activity and event participation. Leveling up a guild unlocks perks such as increased member caps, shared item storage, and exclusive guild cosmetics.

Market & Shards

The Marketplace is where players buy, sell, and auction items. Shards are a special currency-like item type used for crafting and upgrading.

Marketplace

• Browse active listings by category: Shards, Items, Cards.
• Place bids on auction-style listings or use Buy Now for instant purchase.
• List your own items for sale with a starting price and optional Buy Now.
• Listings expire after a set duration. Highest bid wins at expiry.

Shards

• Shards are fragments of powerful artifacts and equipment.
• Collecting a full set of matching shards lets you craft the complete item.
• Shards have rarity tiers matching item tiers (Common through Legendary).
• Extra shards can be sold on the marketplace or traded with guild members.

Trading Tips

Check the marketplace regularly for good deals. Prices fluctuate based on supply and demand. Rare shards are often more valuable as complete sets than as individual pieces.

Spells, Leveling & Armor

Progression in Mystic Numbers revolves around leveling your character, equipping armor, and unlocking spells that enhance your gameplay.

Leveling

• Earn XP from completing levels, winning matches, and defeating bosses.
• Each level grants stat increases and sometimes unlocks new features.
• Prestige system: at max level, you can reset to gain permanent bonuses.

Spells

• Spells are active abilities that can be used during matches and levels.
• Each spell has a cooldown and mana cost.
• Spells are unlocked through leveling and quest rewards.
• Examples: Time Freeze (pause the board), Mana Surge (fill mana instantly).

Armor

• Armor provides passive stat bonuses such as increased score multiplier.
• Armor pieces include Helmets, Chestplates, Gauntlets, and Boots.
• Higher rarity armor provides better stats and set bonuses.
• Armor can be upgraded using shards and in-game currency.

Builds

Experiment with different combinations of spells and armor to suit your playstyle. A balanced build might include one offensive spell, one defensive spell, and armor that boosts overall score. Specialized builds can focus on combo chaining or boss damage.
